I couldn't find your wedding pictures in the Carriage House ... with the flattened spoon/labels and burlap everywhere. It seems they are gone forever, or just into a blog that one must be invited to visit.

Love some of your older posts ... like the visit to New York and something about buttons ... you and Randy on a bench ...

I love how you are putting your "Partner" on your business cards ... good to give credit where it's due and He's a pretty darn good creative director, lol!

Could you please let me know if there is a way to see some of the "golden oldies" posts? Like flipping through an old favorite magazine. Makes you feel good like a double helping of happy.

Thanks!

BettySammy Girlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15675319327686668589noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29659542.post-31789912550814687872009-11-19T18:05:27.889-06:002009-11-19T18:05:27.889-06:00It is extremely interesting for me to read that po...It is extremely interesting for me to read that post. Yes, I do remember that purchase so many years ago - it is funny how I can remember so many of my painted pieces - sort of like my own children. When I get caught up on all my emails - I will email you personally with some ideas.

Thank you again!
ElizabethElizabeth Maxsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15301271156213625334noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29659542.post-14444114171194134182009-08-27T14:05:57.643-05:002009-08-27T14:05:57.643-05:00Talk about a grand wedding album...Talk about a grand wedding album...Lisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11619082746615372159noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29659542.post-49864497225093556042009-08-15T17:43:06.183-05:002009-08-15T17:43:06.183-05:00Elizabeth, I purchased an armoire from you that wa...Elizabeth, I purchased an armoire from you that was a distressed children's armoire, painted with a fleur de lis at the top for my daughter before she was born the winter of 2005. At first, she wanted to do redo her room in rather a boyish way, but has recently fallen in love with all the same things I thought of for her before she was born. We are trying to find her a bed to complement the armoire. I, of course, first thought of Elizabeth House, but amidst my disappointment at its absence, could you give me any suggestions on where to find a twin bed or headboard in that style? But I have to tell you about the "Devil Egg" I had a friend in Germany who received a small gift that she just hated - it was a resin egg that had some sort of fantasy creature crawling out of it. It was suppose to be cute, but it was more creepy than cute. It was the size of an actual small egg. She regifted it once, I think, and she got it back! Then I once threw it off her highrise balconey into the busy street below (6 floors up) and days later her roommate found it and brought it back up (not knowing I threw it out). Then I threw it out the window of her apartment onto the back street and several weeks later, my friend was walking and looked down, and there it was! She brought it home and when I saw it, I then named it "The Devil Egg." And funny thing is, RESIN DOES NOT BREAK! That darn thing wouldn't even crack! Too bad Humpty Dumpty wasn't made of it. I am not sure what ever happened to it, but I do keep an eye out for now and again!

Hope all is well,
Love
ElizabethElizabeth Maxsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15301271156213625334noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29659542.post-13564814557284421792009-07-27T20:51:29.863-05:002009-07-27T20:51:29.863-05:00Hi Dawn!

Thank you for the compliments - it was fun (although tiring!) to get the photos up on the blog - finally!

Thanks for visiting, Dawn,
Love
ElizabethElizabeth Maxsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15301271156213625334noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29659542.post-15749202514924236382009-07-27T08:59:05.917-05:002009-07-27T08:59:05.917-05:00how very special...and what wonderful advice!

I can't tell you how many times my husband has said, why doen't you just sell that (whatever it is at the time), only to love that piece more and then when it sells I'm sad to see it go, but I don't think I've had a piece return to me. It was just meant to be for you to have that sink. Great story!Garden Antqs Vintagehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00815651077162635307noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29659542.post-25861674410690256062009-07-27T07:41:48.639-05:002009-07-27T07:41:48.639-05:00Can't wait to visit your 'Carriage House&#...Can't wait to visit your 'Carriage House' wedding photographs. As a bride of almost 20 years to my wonderful husband...ditto on your statement regarding the wedding day. Effort and focus on the relationship. You'd be amazed at how great things can be if you treat every day as your wedding day (which it is!).
